ChopStir™ was invented by an aerospace engineer who frequently found himself cooking Mexican food and other ground meat dishes for his family. Frustrated that he couldn't find a kitchen utensil that did a good job of chopping meat while it's cooking, he invented the ChopStir™.
The Chopstir™ is a simple kitchen tool with no moving parts, but once people try it, they're convinced it's the answer to easier cooking for foods that need to be chopped and stirred!
1. Place fresh or partially thawed ground meat in pan over medium heat. 2. Use only enough pressure to cut through the meat, chop into approximately 1" chunks. 3. Continue to cook meat until browning occurs. 4. Chop meat into smaller pieces keeping meat to the center of the pan by turning the The ChopStir slowly around the side of the pan as you chop. 5. If desired, pour off excess grease. 6. For finer texture, wait until meat is almost completely browned and repeat step 4 until pieces are the desired size.
DO NOT leave the The ChopStir in the pan while not in use.
